Gingerbread Manor provides a lovely setting for your women's group.  Consider holding your next book club meeting, baby shower or off-site team meeting here and combine it all with a country tea!  A Country Tea has all the charm, service and deliciousness of an English Tea.  It just takes place in a Country Home, with interesting pottery and more hearty fare. We provide the food, beverages and all the homespun trimmings for your event, and we clean up!  Above all, we realize that it's not the dishes, the house or the yummy sandwiches that really matter ... it is the time you spend with your friends!

Country Tea is served in the afternoon, any available day.  We can accommodate up to eighteen people.

Tiny sandwiches with a variety of tasty fillings, homemade butter scones and tiny sweets and treats are served with your loose tea of choice.  Guests enjoy watching our hostess fill the little personal tea bags right before your eyes!  Jams, creams, sugars and other savory additions will be on your table.  And you may find goodies from our garden making appearances in the recipes.  Of course, dietary restrictions are always honored if the Innkeeper is told when you make your reservation.

Country Tea requires a reservation.  When you call, please be prepared to tell us how many people are attending.  When you arrive, let the Innkeeper know if one of the guests will not be joining us; the food will be boxed to take along, as there are no refunds for a guest who does not show.

If you are celebrating a special event, we will gladly add special cupcakes to the fare.  And if your Tea is held between Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, we can add an old-fashioned Christmas carol sing along, complete with live accompaniment on the 1931 Gulbransen piano and song sheets!
